Alibris and Amazon Export Template
These templates were written by one of our users, Dave at Beachsidebooks, for listing books in the UIEE format for Alibris and Amazon.
The first template (AlibrisAmazon.txt) works in the following way: "I designated the Custom One field to contain the keyword "Collectible" that is used by Alibris and Amazon to indicate such. I also used as a unique identifier a combination of the Location, LCCN, the incremental number and the date added. The LCCN identifies more books than ISBN, knowing the date added helps with finding the book in my filing system. "
The second template (AlibrisAmazon2.txt) uses a combination of location and Collection ID as its unique identifier. The location field can also come in helpful when you need to find the book once the 'sold' email has arrived.
